1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Serasee's mobile app and website (the “Service”), operated by Serasi App Enterprise (reg. no. 202603236368 (NS0327354-T)), B2-2-3 Solaris Dutamas, No 1 Jalan Dutamas 1, Kuala Lumpur - 50480, Malaysia. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Serasee — or 19 if you're in South Korea, where the legal age of majority is 19. By signing up, you confirm that you meet the applicable minimum age, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you are creating and using only one account for yourself. We rely on the date of birth you provide — we don't independently verify your age or identity, and you're responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at care@serasee.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Serasee, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Impersonate another person, or create a profile using someone else's photos or identity.
• Post or share nudity, sexually explicit material, or otherwise provocative sexual content, anywhere in the Service (profile photos, bio, chat, or elsewhere).
• Post or share real-world graphic violence, other than in a clearly newsworthy context.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise violates applicable law.
• Solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users.
• Use the Service for commercial advertising or spam.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the Service's security or normal operation.

We operate a zero-tolerance policy for the content above. Reported content and accounts are reviewed and, where the report is substantiated, actioned within 24 hours. Violating these rules may result in your content being removed, your account being suspended or terminated, and where appropriate, being reported to law enforcement.

5. Matching & No Guarantee

Serasee's compatibility scores and suggestions are provided to help you find people you may get along with. They are informational only — we don't guarantee that you will be matched with anyone, that a match will lead to a relationship, or the accuracy of any compatibility score. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, including any decision to meet someone in person — please exercise sensible precautions and meet in a safe, public place.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, bio, and messages you post on Serasee. By posting content, you grant us a license to display it within the Service to other users, as necessary for the Service to function (for example, showing your photos to people you're matched or being shown to). You confirm that you own or have the right to share any content you post.

7. Blocking, Reporting & Moderation

You can block or report another user at any time from their profile or a chat. Blocking prevents you and that user from messaging each other or viewing each other's profile. We review reports and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

8. Subscriptions & Purchases

Serasee offers optional paid features, all billed through Google Play:

• Premium and Max are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions. They renew automatically at the price shown in the app until you cancel. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current billing period.
• Boost and Passport are one-time purchases that activate for a fixed period shown at the time of purchase and do not auto-renew.
• All payments are processed by Google Play and subject to Google Play's own terms and refund policies. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.
• Where your local consumer law grants you a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right for digital purchases, we honor it as required. Starting to use a paid feature immediately after purchase may constitute a waiver of that right where the law permits such a waiver.

9. Intellectual Property

The Serasee name, logo, and app design are the property of Serasee. You may not copy, modify, or use them without our permission.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don't control and aren't responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Serasee is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other users.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Serasee harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your interactions with other users.

12. Termination

You may stop using Serasee and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct poses a risk to other users or the Service.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

14. General

• Severability — if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
• Entire agreement — these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Serasee regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreement on the same subject.
• No waiver — our failure to enforce any part of these Terms isn't a waiver of our right to do so later.
• Assignment — you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and for significant changes we'll provide additional notice in-app. Continuing to use Serasee after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
